The Studio

The large studio, which represents one half of the total store space, is a very well lighted area with a nice high ceiling. It is located on the ground floor, on the same level as the store, for easy access. It contains all of the equipment, furnishings, and tools for the programmes, which are taught there, and for all of your individual artisitic endeavours, during open studio time.

The maximum preferred number for programmes and open studio time is eighteen. Eight tables are available, and they are at the perfect height for most adults. For young people, we supply step-ups, as needed.

Available for use are two pre-programmed larger kilns - one is 22" in diameter, and the other is 25.5"x41" - at $25/firing. There are several 6"x6" hot boxes (small kilns), at $10/firing. All of these things necessary for glass fusing are available, including the moulds, etc. Regularly used tools such as grinders and soldering irons are always there, and of course, there is a light table and a came saw (for framing).

If there is anything that you need, but don't see, just ask. Oh, yes, we do have washroom facilities, (just in case you were wondering).
