This is a two day introduction to basic fusing in our large kilns. Learn about glass compatability and the different firing programs we use. Become familiar with frequently used terminology and discover some excellent resources. Design an original plate or bowl to be full fired and then slump fired into one of our molds. Also make samplers or ornaments combining full and tack firing schedules. Learn about efficient use of space in loading the kilns, and walk away with confidence in pursuing the art of warm glass.
No previous fusing experience is required but glass cutting experience is necessary so bring your own cutters, pliers and marking pens.
