Gord Hawthorne (Owner)
For Gord, as for most people, stained glass started as a hobby many
years ago, and he fell in love with it. He just adores Tiffany style
lamps. (Don't we all.) Fifteen years back, he began what has become
one of the premier teaching and supply locations for stained and
art glass in the province.
Angie Bohan
Angie works Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday afternoons. She teaches
on those evenings, too. The fabulous Angie has been part of the
core of Huronia Art Glass for years. You will find her to be invaluable.
Sue Waller
She has been with Huronia Art Glass for five years. She works Saturdays.
She can supply you with anything you need, 'cause she knows where
everything is located, and she knows what you need for everything
you want to do. She is also getting into teaching, on Tuesday mornings.
You'll adore her! Tuesdays and Thursdays, she supplies the expertise
during the Open Studio time, as well.
Deb Hirsch
Deb is our weekend girl. On Saturdays, you'll find Deb working
in the store, along with Gord and Sue Waller. On Sundays, Deb
works the store with either Rose Haddock or Sue Cahoon. She is
another terrific person in the facilities that helps to ensure
that all of your needs get met, and in a timely fashion. Step
on up, and ask her something.
Rose Haddock
Two Sundays a month Rose lends her expertise to the store. As a
long time Thursday evening student Rose has aquired a strong
technical skill level in the craft.
Sue Cahoon
Sue joins Debbie in the store two Sundays a month. She brings with
her a wealth of experience, from Tiffany Lamp making to jewellery
fusing.
Bayley (Dog in Residence)
If you'd really like to know who the true boss of this outfit is,
it's Bayley. She's been around so long that she knows as much about
stained glass as most people. She's the self appointed, official
greeter of Huronia Art Glass. Her gentle nature and friendly spirit
make here the perfect choice for this task. Everyone answers to
her, don't you know? At least, that's what she thinks, and we wouldn't
want it any other way.
